1. Introduction

SimSim Trip is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it when you search, compare, bid, book, or manage hotel stays on our platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate and improve the travel experience.

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To process bookings, payments, cancellations, and refunds.
  • To match you with hotels and personalized stay recommendations.
  • To send booking updates, security alerts, and service messages.
  • To prevent fraud, misuse, and unauthorized platform activity.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We share information only when needed to provide the service, comply with law, or protect users and partners.

  • Hotels receive booking details required to confirm and serve your stay.
  • Payment partners receive transaction details required to process payments.
  • Support partners may access information needed to resolve your request.
  • Legal or regulatory authorities may receive data when required by law.

4. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we also encourage users to keep passwords and OTPs private.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal data associated with your account, subject to booking, legal, tax, and fraud-prevention retention requirements. You may also opt out of promotional communication while continuing to receive essential service updates.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, and improve recommendations. Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies, but some platform features may stop working properly.

7. Children's Privacy

SimSim Trip is intended for users who can lawfully make travel bookings. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users through the platform or other appropriate channels before the updated terms take effect.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms may vary by hotel, room, and offer type.

1. Standard Cancellation Window

Most bookings can be cancelled according to the timeline shown at checkout. The applicable cancellation window is also included in your booking confirmation. Some discounted, last-minute, or special-rate bookings may be non-cancellable.

2. Free Cancellation

If your booking includes free cancellation, you can cancel before the stated deadline and receive the applicable refund. Once the deadline passes, hotel charges or platform fees may apply as described in the booking terms.

3. Non-Refundable Bookings

Non-refundable bookings cannot be cancelled for a refund unless required by law or specifically approved by the hotel. Taxes, convenience fees, or other charges may also be non-refundable depending on the payment partner and hotel policy.

4. Partial Cancellation Fees

Some bookings may allow cancellation with a partial fee. The fee depends on the hotel, stay dates, room type, and time remaining before check-in. The amount is displayed before you confirm cancellation.

5. Emergency Cancellations

For emergencies, contact support with relevant details as early as possible. We may help coordinate with the hotel, but approval and refund eligibility remain subject to hotel policy and applicable law.

6. Force Majeure and Exceptional Circumstances

Events such as natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or public health emergencies may affect bookings. We will work with hotels and payment partners to determine available options where such events prevent normal travel.

Refund Policy

Refund timing depends on booking terms and payment method.

1. Core Refund Terms

Refund eligibility is based on the cancellation terms displayed at checkout and confirmed in your booking email. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method unless another method is required by the payment partner.

2. Refund Processing Time

After a refund is approved, processing usually begins promptly. Bank, wallet, card network, or payment gateway timelines may affect when the amount appears in your account.

3. Refund Deductions

Cancellation fees, platform fees, payment gateway charges, taxes, or hotel penalties may be deducted where applicable. Any estimated deduction is shown before you complete a cancellation request.

4. No-Show and Early Checkout

If you do not arrive for your booking, or if you check out earlier than the reserved stay period, refunds are subject to hotel approval and the booking policy selected at the time of purchase.

5. Failed or Duplicate Payments

If a payment fails but the amount is debited, the payment partner normally reverses it automatically. For duplicate charges, contact support with your booking ID and transaction reference so we can investigate.

6. Contact Us

For privacy, cancellation, or refund questions, contact SimSim Trip support from your account or through the support link on the website. Include your booking ID when the question relates to a confirmed reservation.
